Passed peacefully away at Miraquinn Hilltop Manor on Wednesday Sept 20, 2023 with his daughter Carolyn by his side, John King age 90 years old
Predeceased by
Wife Neta, parents Annie & Reuben King, brothers Ross, Roy & Carl and Sister Gertie. Brother in Laws Lloyd, Otto, Stan & Sterling and Sister in Law Donna Ivany. Also Special Friend Pearl Olford.
Left with fond and loving memories are his children
Carolyn (Tom), Claude(Bev), Shelly (Rick), Johnny (Deanne) and Steward (Tracey). Grandchildren Tara(James), Megan(Brandon), Nicole, Renee(Alex), Tiffany, Tyler,Tyson, Stephanie and Sammy. Great Grandchildren Parker, Hannah, Jude, Quinn, Jayden & Jack. Sisters Melvina(Nathan), Joan & Muriel. Special sister in Law Loretta King and Brother in law Gerald(Ruby) and Sister in law June.
The family would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to Kim & Chris along with the Staff at Miraquinn Hilltop Manor Hickman’s Harbour for the utmost care given to their dad in recent years as well as the extra care he received in his final journey.
Visitation, Vardy’s Funeral Home, Hickman’s Harbour: Sunday, September 24th, 2023 2-4 pm (Family) 7-9 pm Public
Funeral service to take place from Lady Cove United Church on Monday, September 25th , 2023 at 2 pm with internment following at the United Church Cemetery, Lady Cove.
In loving memory and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family for distribution to the Lady Cove United Church Cemetery Fund and the staff at Miraquinn Hilltop Manor.
