It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing on March 6, 2023, at St. Luke’s, of John George (Jack) Crane of St. John’s, age 86.
Predeceased by his parents Richard and Edna, his beloved brothers Albert (Pee Wee) and Don and his Aunt Maggie Kennedy.
Jack grew up in the Rabbittown area in St. John’s. He loved walking all over the city and was well known by everyone.
Many thanks to the owners and staff of Canning’s Personal Care home in CBS for their excellent care, where Jack and Don resided for a number of years.
We would like to thank all the staff at St. Luke’s, especially on the Inglewood unit, who took such care with dignity and respect to Jack while he was there.
As per Jack’s request there will be no visitation. Burial Service at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road at 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 9, 2023.
A kind and gentle soul.
He died as he lived trusting in God
