(Johnny)Powers of 239 O’Rourke Road Greenmount P.E.I age 72years. Born
at Alberton on December 2,1950 he was the son of the late Herbert and
Theresa (Tessie nee Richard) Powers. Dear brother to Clarence of
Greenmount and Wilfred (Ann)Richard of Mt Stewart. He was predeceased
by siblings Billy, Darlene, and Shirley.He is also survived by his
cousins and by his many friends. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home
and Chapel Alberton. No visitation by personal request.Funeral mass
Friday morning August 25,from St.Simon and St.Jude Church Tignish for
funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. As an
expression of sympathy memorials to the Community Hospital pallative
