Obituary
John K. Fraser, 83, of Indian Mountain, passed away suddenly in Dartmouth, NS, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Born in Bryants Corner, he was the son of the late David and Janie (Young) Fraser.
John worked in his early years for Moncton Business Machines, and then worked in the maintenance department at The Moncton Hospital for 23 years, before starting his own business JK Fraser Landscaping which he operated with his family for many years. John enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, snowmobiling, country and blue grass music, socializing with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia “Pat” Fraser; children, Glenn Fraser, Kimberley “Kim” Symes (Ricky) and Susan Fram (Korey); grandchildren, Aaron (Sam), Alyssa (Dennis), Megan, Madison “Maddie”; great grandchildren, Abby and Emmie; special chosen friends, Jacob, Ethan and Sophie Warman; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Lela, Betty and Rita; brothers, Walter, Ralph, Harris, Robert, Ron, David, Lloyd, Warren and Mel.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to Celebrate and Honour John’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Browns Yard.
