Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday May 14, 2023, formerly of Drumbo, in his 93rd year.
Jake was a character, he loved to sing, belonging to the Drumbo Men’s Chorus for 30 years. He enjoyed gardening and woodwork. He made many friends at Telfer Place during time living there.
Beloved husband to the late Irene (nee Hambly 2010); loved dad to Wayne (late Brenda), Dianne Lawn (Tom) and Don; cherished grandpa to Chris, Jamie (Deanna), Michelle (Doug), Kelly (Luke), Shawna (Trevor) Nick (Nicole), Stephanie (Andrea) and Dylan (Alicia) and many great grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Betty Paye, Margaret Dyment, and Kathleen Bean.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 AM. Cremation followed by interment Ayr Cemetery.
