With the heaviest of hearts we lay Jody Victor Bradley to rest on February 17th 2023, in his home town of Smithers.
Jody was born at the Smithers Hospital to Victor and Sharron Bradley on December 6th 1962. He is survived by his wife Teresa Bradley, his children, Katlyn Bradley (Mackenzie), Liam Bradley (Emma), Elyse Bradley (Matthew), and Garrett Bradley (Renesha), and his Grandchildren. Alexander Victor Lychack (Katlyn and Mackenzie), Forrest Emery David, Baxter Bolyen Koa Bradley (Liam and Emma), Luxanne Veinna, Faeden Lysander Bradley (Garrett and Renesha), his siblings Sabra (Claudio) Bortolussi, Tim (Belinda) Bradley along with many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Jody was an active member in the Smithers Rod and Gun Club, and a true classic motorcycle enthusiast. His contribution to the valley and his community was through his years as a volunteer firefighter at the Smithers Fire Department (1991-2000), his handmade BBQ (Binford 2000) used at the celebrity golf tournaments and local CHIP Run, and his ” My door is always open” at his shop or in his home. Jody managed to balance his love for his family with his love for his craft and support for new tradesmen in his similar field.
His meticulous eye for detail helped him grow his career as a welder fabricator.
