Joan Crossman
1940-2023
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Joan
Crossman, 82, at the Jordan LifeCare Centre on July 14, 2023. Born in
Moncton, on November 18, 1940, she was a daughter to the late Celina
(Melanson) Hicks of Moncton. She was adopted by her mom the late
Zelica (Leblanc) Kervin and welcomed by her big sister the late Dora
Garland.
Joan is survived and sadly missed by her husband, James S.
Crossman; daughters, Jan Gautreau (Mark) and Norma Crossman; sons,
Clint Murray (Angie) and James Crossman Jr. (Jessica). She
adored her six grandchildren Kayla, Matthew, Meagan, Carly, Matt and
Dylan as well as her 9 grandchildren.
She had a thoughtful and kind manner, supporting her husband
and family and anyone else who touched her heart. She loved family
gatherings, music, drives and playing cards. Her big loving smile and
kindness is remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew
her.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home, 506-372-4800, from where visitation will be held on
Friday, July 21st at 11:00am until time of the
funeral at 1:00pm. Interment will be held following the service at the
New Canaan Cemetery.
