It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Demetrious Tsalikis, on January 13, 2023, at the age of 65.
Jimmy suffered a stroke in early 2016, and had a serious heart condition. Whilst the news of his passing is deeply saddening, there is a sense of relief in knowing that he is free from his cardiovascular struggles.
Jimmy had a wonderful life. Blessed with a witty sense of humour, he was always one to brighten a room with deeply entertaining and thought-provoking commentaries on economics, geopolitics and of course, his favourite sports teams.
Jimmy was the cherished father of Natasha, Jason, and Katelyn. He will also be deeply missed by his ex-spouse and friend Stevia, his brothers and sister-in-laws Dino & Nota, Simon & Katie, his nieces Catherine, Jessica, Samantha, Kassia and Sienna, as well as many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4 pm to 8pm.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at St-Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Church.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the CHSLD Ste-Dorothée for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jimmy Tsalikis 1957- 2023..
