Jill Mary Brumm R.N. (Nee: Derouin) passed away peacefully Sunday March 05, 2023 in Edmonton AB. Jill was born October 27, 1946 in Pembroke ON and lived most of her life in the Kingston area, she moved to Sherwood Park AB in 2017 to be closer to her son and granddaughters. Jill was a loving mother, wife, sister, and devoted nurse. Jill was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Harlan Brumm. She is survived by her son, Mark (Lisa) and three granddaughters, Makayla, Kelsey and Taylor. Her sister-in-law Heather Jacob and niece Kristin Jacob (Khaled) as well as her-in-law Marilyn Derouin, nieces Stephanie (Greg) Redmond, Shelby Derouin and nephew Michael Derouin.
Jill loved spending time with her granddaughters, especially at the family cabin. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed learning new recipes and hosting family events. She also loved nature and was always taking pictures of the changing seasons and wildlife.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request you consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Jill’s memory.
