It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Jessie Hillier of Grand Bank announces her passing. Jessie passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, at the age of 92. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her son, Rick Hillier (Lenora) of Clarenville; daughter, Cathy Bolt (Wayne) of Grand Bank; 7 grandchildren, Mike Denty (Lori), Roxanne Burden (Wade), Natasha Hillier, Corey Hillier (Natrisha), Steve Denty, Justin Bolt (Victoria), Jessica Bolt (Adam); 10 great-grandchildren, Nathan, Kaidan, Brittany, Kayla, Kyle, Shaneil, Shalynn, Owen, Kailey, Zara; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Carter, Chelsea; sisters, Georgie Lee, Mary Cooper; sister in law, Olive Price; son in law, Norman Denty; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Jessie was predeceased by husband, George Hillier; parents, Richard and Jane Riggs; daughter, Sharon Denty; great granddaughter, Lauryn Bolt; sister, Frances Douglas; parents in law, Ben and Ida Hillier; sisters in law, Lovey Ralph (Lance), Cora Lapstra (Mac), Carrie Rogers (Ches). brothers in law, Eli Price, Ben Lee, Llew Douglas, Carl Cooper.
The Hillier Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, 48 Marine Drive, Grand Bank, NL A0E 1W0 on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Service will take place at Grand Bank Salvation Army on Sunday, May 28th, 2023 at 2pm.
Interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery. In Jessie’s memory donations may be made to Salvation Army Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
