It’s with deep sadness we announce the passing of Jessie Elizabeth Wilson, age 91 of Moncton, NB on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023.
Born in Upham, Kings County, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Rosa (Nason) Steele.
Jessie was a long-time member of St. George’s Anglican Church. She spent her younger years raising 3 children, and worked for Canada Post.
Jessie is survived by her children, daughter; Deborah Marie “Debbie” Wilson of Manitoba and sons; Brian Wilson of Alberta, and Mark Wilson of New Brunswick, granddaughter Mary Ann, sisters; Connie Poston of Florida, Roberta King “Bertie” of Ontario, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jessie was predeceased by her husband, Delbert Wilson, and brothers and sisters, Alvin, Glennie, Vernon, Shirley, Patricia, and Gerald.
Visitation will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton (506-858-1995), on Sunday, June 11, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm; with a graveside service on Monday, June 12 at 1:00 pm from the Elmwood Cemetery, 200 Elmwood Dr, Moncton.
