Jessica Leanne Courville
On May 19th, 2023, it is with heavy hearts that we announce that Jessica passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Jessica was born in 1995, in Lethbridge, Alberta to Robert and Diana (Winkelholz) Spicer. Loving and protective sister of Melanie Spicer.
Jessica was raised in North Bay, Ontario and attended Chippewa Secondary School. It was through an automotive Co-op placement at Chippewa that she met her husband, Eric, for the very first time, many years ago. Jessica would later go on to complete a certification in Business Administration at Canadore College thereafter.
Jessica and Eric then married in 2019, on a beautiful August day. It was only a year after tying the knot that they welcomed their son, Hudson, into the world with loving arms. Jessica continued to use her knowledge in business when she and Eric opened their own garage later on.
Jessica was loving, caring, and never wanted for much. She touched the hearts of all those around her in her lifetime. Jessica loved all animals, big and small, and would often bring home those that were strays, injured, or homeless.
She loved many activities outdoors, from motorsports, camping, fishing, exploring, and simply just enjoying the view. Above all, her most favourite days were spent with “her guys”, Eric and Hudson.
Jessica is survived by her husband, Eric, and son, Hudson.
Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services on Thursday May 25th from 1 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, there is an established RESP set up in Hudson’s name, should you wish to contribute towards his future education. All contributions will be taken care of through Hillside Funeral Services.
