We are devastated to announce the passing of Jeffrey, our beloved son, brother, and friend on April 16, 2023.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Frances Alty-Arscott, and Nick Arscott; sister, Lauren Arscott; brother-in-law, Matthew Elliott; grandmother, Edythe Arscott; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his dog, Sadie, who he was devoted to; and countless close friends, who he considered more of an extended family. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Derek Arscott, Fenton, and Aileen Alty.
Jeff was happiest at his family’s cabin in Smoky Lake, where he and Sadie would quad and spend time with friends. He was an incredibly devoted son, brother, and friend, and he could spend hours talking with those close to him about anything and everything. He had a particularly close relationship with his mom, who he called every day. Jeff will be deeply missed and has left a hole in the lives of those who knew him.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeff’s name to the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society.
