Jeannette M. (Dupuis) Rietzel, 74, of Moncton, NB;
passed away with her loving family at her side on Sunday, June 4,
2023, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter
of the late Eric and Alberta Dupuis.
Jeannette was a retired Chief Stewart at the Moncton Air
Force Veterans Club, She was a former member of Maplewood Golf Club
and was also a member of the Moncton Air Force Veterans
Club.
A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother sister and
friend, she will be sadly missed by her husband Brian Rietzel; her
children Debbie Smith (Kevin) of Edmonton AB and Justin Bourque
(Melissa) of Moncton; grandchildren, Colby Smith (Amy) and Cassidy
Smith, Courtney, Brianna, Kelsey and Austin; her great grandchildren,
Kaiden Smith and Jaxson Smith; four brothers, Leonard (Ruby) of
Edmonton, AB., Ronald (Claire), Gerald (Geraldine) and Clarence
(Leatha) all of Moncton; as well several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Roger
at the age of 9 years.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Ferguson Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on
Friday June 9, 2023, from 12 noon until the time of the
service.
The Funeral service will be held at Fergusons Riverview
Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2:00
pm.
Donations in memory of Jeannette can be made to the Oncology
Departments of either the Moncton Hospital or the Dr. Georges L.
Dumont Hospital Foundations.
