Jeannette Bernard, 71, of Moncton, passed away on Saturday
February 18, 2023, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was
the daughter of the late Joseph and Bibianne (Léger)
Hébert.
Prior to her retirement, Jeannette worked at Sunny Brae Dry
Cleaners and was a foster mom for many years.
She is survived by two daughters: Joanne MacKinnon (Kraig) of
Barrie, Ont., and Jenifer Leger (Mathieu) of Moncton; two sons: Joey
(Laurel) of Fredericton and Jason (Heidi) of Red Deer, Alb.; seven
grandchildren: Jamie, Jasmine, Evan, Sean, Lochlan, Colchin, and
Khaleesi; three sisters: Régina Hébert and Doris
Saulnier (late Normand and Gerry), both of Irishtown, and Marie
Boudreau (late Blair) of Forest Glen; two brothers: Laurie (Huberte)
and George (Ferne), both of Moncton; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Raymond (2018); three sisters: Léona, Alice, and
Hélène; seven brothers: Eli, Emery, Roger,
Gérard, Danny, Robert, and
Gérald.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral
service. Interment will be in Scotch Settlement cemetery, Irishtown.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral
and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
