CLARKE, Jean Winifred “Fredde” (nee Scott, formerly Hatchard) – at the John M Parrott Centre in Napanee on May 5, 2023 as a result of old age and Alzheimer’s.
Fredde was born in Penobsquis, New Brunswick on Oct. 19, 1926 to Robert “Bob” and Jean “Nan” Scott.
She is survived by her children Sandra “Sam” Mooney (Toronto) and Charles “Charlie” Hatchard (Penticton) and her step-children James “Jim” Clarke (Mansfield), Lynne Bowles (Oakville) and Gerald “Gerry” Clarke (Newmarket), her 10 grandchildren, her 19 great-grandchildren, and her niece and two nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Douglas “Doug” Clarke, her first husband Charles Hatchard, her son John Hatchard, her parents, and her brother Robert “Bob” Scott.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee on Saturday, May 5 from 3:30 to 5:00pm with Words of Remembrance and a toast at 4:30.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
