Obituary
Jean H. Hyslop, 87, of Irishtown, passed away within the comforts of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Born in Harcourt, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Blanche (nee Beers) Leet.
Jean loved the outdoors, she spent her summers tending to her vegetable and flower gardens; whether a friend or foe, you never left Jean’s presence without her getting a hug! But most important to Jean was her family, she loved every bit of time spent with each one of you.
Jean will be sadly missed by her daughters, Connie Daisley (Angus) and Carol Stiles (Malcolm); sons, Robert (Maddy), Rick (Karen) and John (Marion); her 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie, Phyllis, Linda (Phil), Karen (Nelson), Muriel and Sharon; brother, Glenn (Betty); as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Hyslop; and brothers, Kenneth and Lawrence.
A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on May 9, 2023 at 11:00 am from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Browns Yard, Kent County. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
