With great sorrow we said goodby to Jean Catherine Hart on January 1, 2023 at the Oilfields Hospital in Black Diamond, Alberta
Jean was deeply loved and will be missed by her children Pat Cooper (Bob), John Hart (Sharon), Cathy Barillaro, Janice Lobdell (J) and Trevor Hart, her 12 grandchildren and her 9 great-grandchildren.
Jean was predeceased by her first husband Herb Wilson in 1963, second husband Jack Hart in 1993, son Phil Hart in 1997 and special friend Reg Richardson in 2017.
Jean was born in Woodford, England, attended college in London, England and then moved to Canada in 1953. Jean was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She loved all kinds of needlework, sewing, reading, square dancing, bowling and playing the piano. After retirement Jean volunteered for the Royal Canadian Legion and served as Vice President of the Canadian Atomic Veterans Association and for two seniors’ facilities in Black Diamond.
With respect to Jeans’ wishes, no service will be held.
