Obituary of Janice Ann Edwards
With great sadness, the family of Janice Ann Edwards of Keswick Ridge, NB, wife of Randy Edwards, announce her sudden passing on Monday, February 20, 2023 at her home. Born on May 26, 1956 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Jeanette (Saunders) Seymour. Janice retired from the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital after 46 years. She had a green thumb, enjoyed puzzles, spending time at the camp, was a diehard hockey mom and Canadiens fan.
In addition to her loving husband of 45 years, Janice is survived by sons, Cory Edwards (Heather), Jeffrey Edwards (Lacey Brown) both of Keswick Ridge; grandchildren, Kasey, Sophia, Mackenzie, Blake, Jaxon; brothers, Tim Seymour (Andrea), Randy Seymour (Karla Theriault), Chris Seymour (Tammy), Peter Seymour (Michelle Ralph), Jamie Seymour (Alexia Dean); aunt, Deborah Hollingworth (late Steve); beloved dogs, Daisy and Ally; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Wendy Seymour; and her beloved dog, Sara.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Brendon Oreto Foundation or SPCA or donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
