Herrett, Janice Arlene – 86, Springhill, passed away Friday, January 27th, 2023 in South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Georgie (Brown) Corkum. She is survived by her son, Greg; daughters, Kathy (Lawrence) Englehart; Marlene Gaudet; grandchildren, Matthew Englehart (Sarah); Sarah (James) Gray; Zackary Gaudet; Sarah Rushton; great-grandchildren, Emma, Aidan, Kaycen; brothers, Donald and Kenneth Corkum; sister, Marjorie Benjamin. She was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe; brother, David Corkum. Janice’s family would like to thank the nursing staff at South Cumberland Health Care Centre, Parrsboro for their wonderful care of their Mom. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Oxford.
