Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of James Paul announce his peaceful passing on June 11th, 2023, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 78 years.
James is survived by, and will always be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years Diane Paul (Coleman), his son Jamie Paul (Caroline), grandchildren Amber & Aric, numerous nieces and nephews, and his great-granddaughter Eleanore. James is the dear brother of Wayne Paul (Linda), Beulah Levesque, and Juanita Doran (late Cecile). James was predeceased in death by his siblings Tom Paul (late Shirley), Don Paul (late Rita), Myrna Thomas (late Lorne), Joan Paul (late William), Margaret Paul, and brother-in-law Norm Levesque.
James was extremely devoted and loyal to his wife and soulmate Diane, the center of his universe. James loved to dance with his great-granddaughter Eleanore; the apple of his eye whom he adored, and never missed a chance to love on. James was an avid and skilled outdoorsman who thoroughly enjoyed the McConnell Lake area with his son Jamie. The lake trout were always at a serious disadvantage when those two were in town, and his legacy will continue to live on by those who love him most.
As per James’ wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society on his behalf would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com A celebration of life will take place at a future date.
