It is with great sadness we announce the sudden & unexpected passing of Jimmy. Husband and best friend to Tammie. Loving father to Angela, John, Jason, Melissa and father figure to Michelle Chanady. Grandfather “Tappy” to Oksauna, Brooke & Jade. Great grandfather to Evan. Beloved son of the late Walter Frank Hertrich and Mary Edna Hertich (nee Kent). Brother of Laverne Hertrich, Walter Hertrich, Marilyn Haug, Marlene Chartrand, Carol Keefe, Katherine Kozak, Edward Hertrich & Rosemary Dunn. Predeceased by his sisters Esther Souray & Elizabeth Feran. Loving uncle to his many nieces & nephews. Jimmy was a well-respected friend & confidant to many throughout his life. An OG Cabbage Towner gone too soon. The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the Cudney Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
