Jim was a hard worker who took on increasingly responsible positions in Sales, Information Technology and Management through his career in NS and NB.
Most of all, Jim was a family man, he adored his family and they were the most important joy in his life. He was devoted to his wife Janet and proud father to sons, Robbie and Alex. Jim was very involved in his children’s lives, often stepping up to coach his son’s teams in soccer and hockey. He shared his love of nature through family camping trips and passed on his love of travel as they enjoyed many family trips throughout North America, Europe and Australia.
Jim was an adventurer of the sky and seas. A lifelong sailor, Jim was a member of the Mactaquac Sailing Association and a pilot at the Fredericton flying club. He spent many enjoyable hours sailing and flying with friends and family. He played hockey in his youth and played soccer for many years in both the men’s indoor and outdoor (Old Boys Soccer league).
Jim’s accomplishments were many and he always strived to do his best, whether completing home renovations or helping his wife and sons with their interests.
Jim was a true gentleman and a kind person always willing to lend a hand. His friends were many and he maintained close friendships from his early childhood.
Jim loved animals and held a special bond with the cats he cared for throughout his lifetime. He will be missed by his feline companions, Rosie and Callie.
Jim’s passing has left a great void in our lives. With grateful hearts for the time shared with an incredible man, he will be forever loved and missed.
