It is with great heartbreak and sadness that the family of the late James (Jim) Crant of Grand Bank announces his passing on July 1st, 2023 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, NL at the age of 77.
Leaving with fond and great memories are his wife, Jessie (Grand Bank); son, Donald (Grand Bank); daughter, Stacey (St. John’s) and granddaughter, Nicole (Conception Bay South). Also leaving to mourn are his sisters, Rita (Hamilton, ON), Jean (Halifax, NS), Blanche (Halifax, NS). Irene (Joe, of Placentia), Diane (Mike, of Guelph, ON). Doreen (Fortune, NL), Linda (John, of Fortune, NL) and Sheila (Aubrey, of Grand Bank, NL), plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, William and Elsie Crant; twin sister, Bessie and sister, Joan.
Special thank you to the staff in the ICU at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre.

Funeral Service will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank at a date and time to be announced. Internment will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Fortune.
In James’ memory donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Fortune.
