Jack White Jr (Crying Warrior), a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully in Windsor on March 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Jack was predeceased by his parents Jack & Evelyn White, sister Priscilla Curley, brother Glensen Aquash, wife Sinia Marie White, son Barry Aquash, grandson Jason R. White and granddaughter Eva Aquash. Jack will be dearly missed by his wife Sharon White and his children Nancy White, Renee Lallean (Brad), Josh White, Steven Amaro, Jason White (Shauna), Lindsay Soney (Jesse), his sisters Darlene Joseph, Jewell Aquash and Kathleen Day, and his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Jack was a residential School Survivor, language keeper, journeyman carpenter and U.S. Naval Veteran. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday and 4-6 PM on Wednesday. The funeral will be celebrated at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Thursday, March 30 a 1 PM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
