Jacob (Jack) Vreugdenhil born Jan 18, 1928 in the Netherlands, passed away Feb 1, 2023 at Lakefield Extendicare. Formerly of Owen Sound.
Beloved husband of the late Corrie Vreugdenhil. Sadly missed by his three daughters; Carol Sammut (Mark), Margaret Vreugdenhil-Beauclerc (Ken) and Sylvia Vreugdenhil (Brantz Myers). He will also be missed by his seven grandchildren, Nick and Leah Sammut, Connor (Nick MacDonald), Avery (Laura Inkila) and Spencer Vreugdenhil-Beauclerc, Max and Lukas Myers, and great grandson Owen MacDonald.

Jack worked hard all his life, especially tending to his farm in Owen Sound. He loved living in the country, and could often be found outside or in the greenhouse, taking care of his hostas and tomatoes. A man of few words, he was always reliable and proud of his family.
A special thank you to the staff at Lakefield Extendicare for their caring support of Jack in his final years.
