Obituary
Jack Robert Andree (Bob) passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2023, at the age of 66, surrounded by his family. Bob faced cancer the same way he lived life: with a smile, unending optimism, and a quiet faith. He loved his family deeply—which is why he fought cancer for nearly four years, despite a six-month prognosis. In addition to his family, Bob cared about his students. His 30-year career at Smithville Christian High School teaching French, Accounting, Math, and anything else that they needed, was a lifelong calling. When he wasn’t teaching or with his family, Bob loved being outside, especially in his gardens or kayaking.
Bob will be missed by Jane Andree (née Heuving), his wife of 39 years, and his four daughters: Ann (Lydell) Andree Wiebe (Liska, Emory, and Arza); Lynette (Jeff) Wierenga (Kailyn, Weston, and Parker); Julie (Tim) Allen; and Chantale (Josh) Garone (Skylar, Jamie, and Bennett). He also leaves his brother Mel (Betty); sister-in-law Donna; sisters Alice (Nick) Groen; Anita
(Bernie) Voortman; and Geri (Bryan) DeWeerd, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his brother John, his parents, Andy and Ann, and his parents-in-law, Walter and Henny Heuving.

The visitation is at CALVARY CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH 265 Middletown Rd., Flamborough on Friday, January 27, from 7:00-9:00 pm. A private burial will take place on Saturday morning.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at BETHANY CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH 1040 Balfour St., Fenwick on Saturday, January 28, at 2:00 pm, and a livestream of the service will be available at www.bethanycrc.ca.
