With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne LeBlanc, 76, of Haut Saint-Antoine, who passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023, at the Ste-Anne de Kent, Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born in Alexandrina de Kent on November 11, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Juliette (LeBlanc) Poirier.
She will be forever loved and sadly missed by her four children, Linda (Jean) Allain of Cocagne, Lisa (Marcel) Caissie of Bouctouche, Joanne (Olivier) Gallant of Grande-Digue, David LeBlanc of Saint-Antoine, eight grandchildren, Ricky, Sylvie, Jeremy, Gaëtan, Nicholas, Sébastien, Amy, and Jenny.
She also leaves behind her siblings: Stella Girouard of Notre-Dame, Marie-Thérèse Boudreau (Jean-Paul) of Saint-Antoine, Ida (Émerie) Gallant of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Jeannine Carroll (Serge) of Haut Aboujagane, Aquila (Raymonde), Edouard (Maria), Noël, and Omer (Murielle) all of Saint-Antoine and several nephews and nieces.
Yvonne had worked at the Villas du Repos in Moncton until she retired, and, in her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She kept busy with her garden and flowers. She also loved to do quilting and rug hooking.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gérard LeBlanc (2015), by her brothers, Roger and Gérard, and a nephew Paul Boudreau.
Visitation will be held from St-Antoine-l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, St-Antoine, NB, on Monday, August 7th, 2023 from 9 am to 10:50 am, followed by the funeral mass at 11 am.
In her memory, a donation can be made to the CHU-Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology”.
