Therese Gallant, 89, of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, January 6th, 2023 at her residence.
Born in St-Paul-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Eloi and the late Josephine (Leger) Bastarache.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Cape Bald Packers.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Ann LeBlanc of Moncton; her sons: Paul (Charlotte) of Florida and Leo (Barbara) of Mass.; her son-in-law, Guy Saulnier (late Jeanne) of Cap-Pelé; her grandchildren: Rachel, Robbie, Christopher, Eric, Therese, Brian, Laura, Connor and Leo Jr.; her great granddaughter, Luna; her sisters: Melina Bastarache (Don) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, Bella Cormier (late Alcide) of Mass., Maria Bastarache (late Len) of Ontario and Claudette Bastarache of Mass.; her brothers: Gerard G. (late Eveline) of Mass., Ulysse (late Anna) of Cocagne, Normand (Lorraine) of St-Antoine, Guy of Moncton, Yvon (Lorraine) and Paul, both of Mass., as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Euclide Gallant in 1992; by her daughters: Florence “Flo” and Jeanne; by her son, Gerard and by her brother, Noël.
No visitation will be held prior to the funeral, funeral mass will be held from Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila RC Church, Cap-Pelé, NB, on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 at 10:30 am.
Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
In Therese’s memory, donation can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation “Oncology”.
