Shediac, NB – Léandre Léger, 90, of Shediac (formerly of Grande-Digue) passed away on Monday, February 6th, 2023, at the Moncton Albert Hospice House.
Born in Grande-Digue, he was the son of the late Aquila Léger and the late Zélica (Cormier) Léger.
He is survived by his son, Rosario Léger; his sister-in-law, Annette Léger; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; his three sisters: Doris (late Pierre), Ozélie (late Raoul) and Laurina (late Edgar); and by his brother, Alcide (Annette).
There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held from La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue, on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, at 2pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery in the spring.
The family wishes to express their gratitude towards the nursing staff of the Moncton Albert Hospice House that took great care of Léandre.
In Léandre’s memory, a donation can be made to Pépère Boite à Lunch – Grande-Digue.
