At Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Sunday, February 26, 2023, surrounded by his family, Gerard LeBlanc passed away at the age of 69. He was a resident of Castel des Flots Bleus in Cap-Pelé.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Léo and the late Marie (Gaudet) LeBlanc.
Gerard loved listening to music, playing bingo and doing puzzles, always with his best friend, Dorine. He is survived by his special friend, Dorine Bourque; his brother, Michel LeBlanc (Laurine) of Cap-Pelé; his sisters: Thérèse Donelle (late Paul) of Moncton, Rose Cormier (Léonce) of Cap-Pelé, Liliane LeBlanc (Janice) of Shediac and Ginette LeBlanc (Paulette) of Kedgwick; his nieces and nephews: Berny, Kenny, Jeffrey, Kim, Jason, Danielle and Renée; also his friends from Castel and the community.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Paul Donelle.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Castel des Flots Bleus, Dr. Marc Cormier and the staff at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC who all provided excellent care to our brother, Gerard.
There will be no visits. A funeral service will be held at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila RC Church in Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday, March 15 at 3:00 pm. Words of comfort and condolences can be sent to the family on our website at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca
