Moncton, NB – Cécile Caissie, 91, passed away peacefully at Dr. George-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Friday, December 30, 2022.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Pierre Surette and the late Ida Gallant.
Cécile will be sadly missed by her daughter: Corinne Simpson (late Réginald “Brian” in 2022) of St-Philippe; her grandchildren: Troy Kaye (Michelle) of Moncton and Shauna Simpson (Denis) of Moncton; her great grandchildren: Parker, Jade, Magnus, Poppy Kaye and Colton, Kash Simpson; her sister: Annette Steeves of Moncton; her brother: Omer Surette (Stella) of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Léo (Marceline), Sylvain (Adrienne), infant Joseph and infant Ronald; her sisters: Thérèse Caissie (Edgar) and Rita LeBlanc (Edgar).
As per Cecile’s wishes there will be no visitation and no funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Saint-Philippe Cemetery.
In Cécile’s memory, a donation can be made to an organization of your choice.
