It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Hubert Percey Miles on Thursday, January 5th, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the age of 69 years.
He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: son Adam (Michelle) Miles of Lloydminster AB; daughter Cynthia Miles (Bradley Culp) of Corner Brook; grandchildren: Ethan Miles, Isaiah Saunders, Trinity Saunders, AJ Miles, Reed Miles, and Carley Miles; brother John Miles; stepbrothers: Rupert Miles and Gerard Miles; and stepsister Marlene Miles; as well as a circle of extended relatives and friends.
Hubert was predeceased by: parents Rose and Everett Miles; and step brothers: Richard Pittman, Joey Miles, and Adam Miles.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy donations in Hubert’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the 3B ward at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital and to the staff of the Western Long Term Care Palliative Care Unit.
