Holly Ernest Baisley passed away at Bridgeview Hall, Miramichi NB, January 1st, 2023 at the age of 82. Born and raised in Wayerton he was the son of Karl and Stella (Hosford) Baisley. He was a truck driver for 40 years then because of his love for work, he went to work at Baisley’s Construction. Holly was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Miramichi. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elsie (Allison), his three children, Brenda Somers (Hal), Brent Baisley and June Taylor (Shawn) all of Miramichi, his sister Elsie Norton (Wilson) of Moncton, his grandchildren, Justin Somers, Josh Somers, Brandon Baisley, Ashley Chase and Denzel Taylor. He also has eight great grandchildren, Kiera, Hadley, Caden Somers, Jack and Johnny Somers, Charlie and Archie Chase and Ben Baisley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Mona Matchett (Bill).
Holly Ernest Baisley is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy with visitation on Wednesday from 3pm-8pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matthew Porter officiating. Burial will be in Miramichi Cemetery later in the spring.
In his memory, donations to Calvary Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Miramichi Food Bank or a memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
