Wellon, Hilda Florence – Peacefully, in the presence of her family, on Sunday February 5, 2023 at her home in Georgetown. Hilda, 100 years of age, wife of the late Gordon Wellon (2007). Loving mother of Ron and his wife Tracey of Georgetown and Gary of Chesley. Loved grandma of Robert, Meagan (Jake Friskney) and Rebecca (Alex McLeod). Great grandma of Elian. Dear sister of Mary Stuart of B.C. Hilda was predeceased by her sister Beatrice and by her brothers Harry and Reginald. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday February 19, 2023 from 12 noon until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation or Cane’s Community Care would be appreciated.
