Obituary
Herbert “Herb” L. Jardine, 85, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Born in Quarryville, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Helen (MacDougall) Jardine.
Herb was retired from the Federal Government (Administrator Officer) with 37 years’ service. He was a former member of the Beausejour and Beaver Curling Clubs, Centennial Lawn Bowling Club, Moncton Legion Branch #6 and the Moncton Police Department Repelling Team. Herb loved tinkering around the house outside, loved travelling with Joyce to Florida and Cuba and he enjoyed the 30 plus years spent at the family cottage in Shediac.
Herb will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Joyce (Hayward) Jardine of Moncton; sons, Jayme Jardine of Moncton, David Jardine of Riverview and Darren Jardine of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Larissa, Kaylyn, Corey and Amy; 2 great grandchildren. Herb was the last surviving member of his immediate family, in addition to his parents, he was predeceased by cherished son, Delbert (January 7, 1986) and brother Donald Jardine (2006).
