Henryk (POPS)’s Obituary
Peacefully at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital near Sidney BC, Henryk Jankowski, the family patriarch, passed away at the age of 97. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, father-in-law and a friend too many.
Henryk was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, son Zenon, brother Tadeusz and parents.
He will be missed by his sons Adam (Pat), Joe (Betty-Ann), and Leonard, his grandkids Tanya(Jerome), Kelvin (Katie), Kent, Janalee (Barry), John (Lindsay), Melissa, Nathan (Courtney), great grandkids Larissa (Brendan), Sierra (RJ), Savannah, Mia, Joe, Izabel, Jack, Noah, Jackson, Hunter, step great grandkids Skyler and Dakota (Liam).
Cremation has taken place and Henryk will be buried, in Red Lake, at a later date to be announced, where he spent many years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Hospital through the Red Lake Funeral Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
