Helen Jean Dunseith, age 86, Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late James and Gretta (McKay) Thomson. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bob) Dunseith, August 24, 2012. She is survived by her brother Jim and his wife Elaine Thomson and her brothers and sisters-in-law Donna(Keith) Aitcheson, Carol (Ron)Shaw and Ron Dunseith. Helen will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews including special nieces Elizabeth (Bruce)Clarke and Marilyn Pickering. Helen retired from National Trust, and enjoyed her retirement volunteering endlessly for the Knox Presbyterian Church in Harrington where she was a member of church ladies group and the church organist for sixty years. Helen also was a member of the ladies division of the Stratford Agricultural Society for many years. Besides her parents and her husband, Helen was predeceased by her sister Margaret Hislop and brother John Thomson and her brother and sisters-in-law Thelma (Ralph) Murray, June (Jack) Meadows, Vernon (Goldie) Dunseith, Marie (Jack) Pepper, Joyce (Alex) Binkle, Betty Lou (Harold) Lange, Jack Shaw, Allan Murray and Sue Dunseith. Family and friends are invited to Helen’s visitation on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 2pm at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
