Helen Pennington (Allen) passed at the age of 85 on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
She will be dearly remembered by her daughter Jan (Rick Gauvreau), her granddaughter Corrine (Dave Lafreniere) and her twin great granddaughters who she adored Everley Helen and Emma Christina.
Predeceased by her exceptional daughter Corrine Smith, her incredible husband Midge Pennington, and her first husband George Smith.
She will also be remembered fondly by many other family members and friends.
A Service in her honour will be held at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Knightsbridge Road) Ottawa, on Saturday, June 3 at 11:00 am followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arnprior & District Humane Society as this was a charity Helen generously supported.
