Hédard
Légère, 85, spouse of the late
Ozélie, born Boudreau (2014), passed away peacefully
surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was
the son of the late Joseph and Anne-Marie (Lanteigne)
Légère.
Before his retirement,
Hédard was an iron worker. Later on in life, he installed
industrial flooring. He enjoyed the outdoors and
hunting.
He is survived by his
children: Anita Légère (Kirk) of Moncton, Sara
Légère (Jonathan) of Kelowna BC, Maurice of
Haute-Aboujagane and two granddaughters: Julie and Tara; his brothers
and sisters: Amandine (late Raymond Chiasson), Nicholas
(Jeanne-D’Arc Lanteigne), and Dr. Hermel; sisters-in-law:
Marie, and Edna as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by
his brothers and sister: Estelle, Henrie, Lionel, Cageton, Alcide,
Jean-Eudes, Gérard, and Léonard.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac from where a chapel service will be held on Thursday
April 27th at 3 pm. Visiting hours are from 9
am to 11 am and from 1 pm till time of service.
The family would like
to express their appreciation to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC,
Oncology Section, and the Extra-Mural Services for the excellent care
given to Hédard.
In memory of
Hédard, a contribution to the Club chasse et
pêche de Haute-Aboujagane would be
appreciated.
