Harriet “Sis” Harmen passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, August 28, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents David and Martha; husband Ben “Benny”; all her siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews. Left to mourn Harriet are her two daughters: Debbie and Ken Straza (Regina), grandson Mike and Chelsey, great-grandchildren Carrington, Kairi and Kellan, grandson Joey and Riki, great grand-children Adrien and Colton; Wendy and Wayne Lyon (Calgary), grandson Nathan; great- grandsons Zachary, Payton, Christian and Chase; granddaughter Kirsten and Chris Fantazir; great-granddaughters Aaliyah and Avril. Harriet’s service will be held at Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, 5303 Sherwood Drive in Regina, Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. A private Interment will follow immediately. Honourary pallbearers, Ken Straza, Wayne Lyon, Mike Straza and Joey Straza. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Harriet’s memory to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, Saskatchewan S4R 8P6. A special thanks to numerous nurses at the Pasqua Hospital Unit 4B Room 432, and the entire staff at the Wascana Grace Hospice…you know who you are and mom said, “They were amazing.”
