Mr. Harold Walter Jacobsen of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the age of 91 years. Harold was born on April 19, 1932 in Red Deer. He lived at his home at the top of Michener Hill his entire life. Harold started working for the T. Eaton Company in July 1951, and remained with them for over forty years. Eaton’s became his second home. Harold was well liked and respected by his co-workers. Harold built an elaborate hobby train system in his basement with tunnels, mountains, and scenery all from scratch. He enjoyed working with wood and made many items, some of which he would give away. He also built a motorhome and took several trips in it with his parents. Harold loved all the cats he had over the years, and they were wonderful companions for him. Harold will be lovingly remembered by several of his first and second cousins, many friends. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
