In loving memory of Vera Hanna.
Vera Anne Hanna passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 2022. Vera was born on March 21, 1933, to Arni and Nellie Goodman, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she spent her early years growing up with her sister Emily. She met Harold, whom she married in 1954, and shortly after, they moved to northern BC, where she started her family and lived for 30 years. While living in Dawson Creek, Vera and Harold kept very busy with their clubs, associations, golfing, bowling, and especially their curling. They moved to the Okanagan in 1984 to spend their retirement years.
Vera was one of the most caring, generous, and helpful people one could have in their life, and she will always be remembered for that kindness.
Vera is survived by her two sons Kevin (Terri) and Jeff (Rhonda); her 4 grandchildren Jason (Monica), Mathew, Maxwell, and Jacob; and great-granddaughter Madeleine. Vera was predeceased by her husband Harold (d. 2005) and her sister Emily (d. 2022).
