Mr. Gurmej Singh of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre, Calgary, Alberta on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Gurmej was born on April 13, 1961, at Talwandi Mange Khan, Punjab, India. He was the youngest of his seven siblings. Gurmej immigrated to Canada in November 1997. He worked very hard to buy his first home in Red Deer. Gurmej was a kind, loving man who was always available to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was very involved in his community and became well known to many for his generosity and kindness to others. Gurmej will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
