Peacefully with her loving husband Jan at her side, Grietje Kroondijk went to be with her Lord Jesus on Friday, July 21, 2023. Grietje (van der Ploeg), of Burford, in her 84th year. Loving mother of Jaap & Jeanette, Theo, Bertus & Cora, Tineke & Gerrit. She was blessed to enjoy many years with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grietje was born in the Netherlands and moved in 1991 to their dairy farm in Burford.
Family & friends will be received at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Cres., Woodstock on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and on Wednesday July 26, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pioneer Cemetery, Burford. As expressions of sympathy donations in Grietje’s memory may be made to the Woodstock Christian School. Arrangements entrusted to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford.
