On September 8th, 2023 Gregory Alan Heyworth passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Greg was born in Etobicoke on November 6,1961. He is the beloved husband of Darlene Heyworth (nee Hallahan) for over 37 years. Greg was predeceased by his parents Richard and Sheila Heyworth, survived by his brother Robbie Heyworth (Kathie), sisters Julie Weare, and Carolyn Truax (Andrew), son-in-law of Robert and Louise Hallahan, sister-in-law Denene Williamson (Rodger), brother-in-law David Hallahan (Amanda), sister-in-law Donna Hallahan (Terry Irwin). Beloved father of Robert (Brittany), Patrick (Sarah), Amanda (Mike Patton), grandchildren Colton, Isabella, Skylar and Pearson Heyworth, and Grace Patton. Greg will be missed by
all his many nieces and nephews.
Greg’s favourite time was spent with his wife Darlene and his children and grand children. He was passionate about theToronto Maple Leafs, Dallas Cowboys and Toronto Blue Jays and watching sports on TV while playing his guitar. Greg played AAA hockey as a goalie throughout his youth. After playing, he coached in the Chinguacousy Minor Hockey Association system introducing and developing young hockey players.
