Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Isaac Fifield announce his passing on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at his home in Pasadena, NL at the age of 72 years, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Marilyn; children: Gordon Fifield (Cindy), Steven Fifield (Jody), and Darryl Fifield (Terra); grandchildren: Gadge, Emma, Carter, Kadence, Benjamin, Davieve, Logan, Luke, and Davian; his siblings: Ruby Curtis, Ray Fifield (Josephine), and Lloyd Fifield (Jean); and sister-in-law: Ruth Fifield; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Gordon is predeceased by his parents: Laura Blanche-Randall and Harold Fifield; brother: Ross Fifield; and his brother-in-law: Lloyd Curtis.
There will be a visitation held on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 at the Pasadena Pentecostal Church from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 13th, 2023 at 1 PM with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Gordon’s memory to the Pasadena Food Bank (ppcgiving@yahoo.ca). When sending the donation, please state in the memo line it’s for the late Gordon Fifield.
