BICKLE, Glen Robert, 78, of Stratford, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born in Stratford on June 22, 1944 a son of the late Robert Henry Bickle and the former Queenie Belle McIntosh.
Prior to retirement to Stratford, Glen had been a beef cattle and cash crop farmer in North Easthope (Perth East). He was a member of Shakespeare Presbyterian Church.
Glen is survived by his best friend, Linda Bundscho; his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Peter Archer; four grandchildren, Ryan, Marilee, Borden, Burton; Linda’s children, Brenda Roth (Othmar), Brock Bundscho, Beth Bundscho; his sister, Margaret Ramseyer; several nieces, nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Lenore and Wilfred Steinacker, LaVerne and Walter Blum, Della and Fraser Neeb, Melvin Ramseyer.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. Rev. Rob Congram will officiate. Interment in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford.
