It is with heavy hearts that the families of Gladys Winnie Sarah Blundon announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Monday, January 2nd, 2023, at the age of 61 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Bruce, her son; Ken (Michelle), her two precious granddaughters; Madison, and Mackenzie, her siblings; June (Donna), Lloyd (Vene), Rick (Bev), Jim (Ruby), and Brenda (Karl), her brothers and sisters-in-law; Barry (Linda) Blundon, Don (Ellen) Blundon, Jeff (Vivian) Blundon, Rosanne (Glen) Phillips, and Debbie, her step brothers and sisters-in-law; Keith King, Jared (Tammy) King, Greg King, Harold (Mary) King, Yvonne (Bruce) Connors, and Bride King, and her very special friend; Wanda Pearce.
Gladys was predeceased by her parents; Joyce and Nelson Cumby, her brothers; Wayne and Wils (Sandra), her father and mother-in-law; Raymond Blundon and Jane Hunt, her step father and mother-in-law; Karl Hunt and Nellie Blundon, and her step brother-in-law; Gene King, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the United Church in Howley, NL, on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 8th, 2023, at 2:30 pm, with Rev Jocelyn Cook officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot in the Pentecostal Church cemetery, in Howley, NL.
Gladys loved her Tim Horton’s (Ice Caps), there are going to miss her coming to Tim Horton’s every day!
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Howley Volunteer fire Dept, in Gladys memory would be gratefully appreciated by the families.
