The passing of Marie Jacqueline “Gizelle” Paul of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Keith “Jamie” Paul, occurred on Friday, March 17, 2023. Born on August 23, 1960 in Sarina, ON, she was a daughter of the late Florent and Jean (Leduc) Larocque.
Gizelle is survived by her children, Maxine Somerville (Brennon), Jamieson Paul (Terri), Rick Paul (Melissa) and David Paul (Rebecca); twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Sharon), Norman (Sherry) and Richard (Ladonna); and several nieces and nephews.
Gizelle was predeceased by her parents, husband Jamie Paul, her siblings, David, Yvonne, Jackie, Jeannine; as well as Cournty Carr; and her beloved Pets who were also like children to her.
Special thank you goes out to her grandchildren Kaley and Jorja, who helped take care of her, and kept her spirits high during her journey. Also thank you to the many wonderful workers that have supported her as well.
There will be visitation at the family home, 230 Maliseet Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 10-10 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Parish, 603 Union St., Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11 am with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan and Father Curtis Sappier as celebrants. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
